What I did was rise, come to the door and open it.

As what i did,i rose and came to the door ,then opened it.

What I did was coming to the door and opening it after I rose.

Coming to the door and opening it after I rose was what I did.

all that can be used here instead of what. e.g.:

All that I did was coming to the door and opening it after I rose.

Coming to the door and opening it after I rose was all that I did.

长句会使文章难以阅读吗？

—篇满是长句的文章当然有可能难以阅读，但事实并非总是如此。句子结构起着很重要 的作用i丨如果主句位于句首，同时也很有逻辑性的话，长句也具有很高的可读性。持续使用短句也不会提高文章的可读性。各部分信息之间的联系可能会缺失，一系列的 短句听起来也可能会很枯燥，甚至咄咄逼人。:所以理想的状态是长短句相结合。包含重要信息的句子最好是短句，而包含观点（或例 子，解释或列举)的句子则可以长一些。
